This week, I had the opportunity to work with the amazing students, staff, and admin at the BTVC, which is a centre for highlighting the radiant talents of those with special needs. I was able to teach my students with the help of my very supportive colleagues and the admin! Our favourite lesson had to be the cooking session in which I demonstrated how to cook pasta and Brazilian truffles. Over the week, their assignment was to recreate one of two of these dishes, and they succeeded immensely! Not only did they cook their dishes to perfection, but they added a few of their own spices which made it taste even better! I will miss this very dearly, and hope to come back in the near future. These people have a very special place in my heart! Thank you ever so much. Lara.
