Caring for children with special needs is a collective responsibility deeply rooted in Islamic values of compassion, dignity, and justice. Islam teaches that every child is a trust from Allah and deserves love, support, and opportunities to thrive, regardless of physical, intellectual, or developmental challenges. In line with these teachings, Al-Habibiyyah Islamic Society is hosting an important discussion on “Philanthropy and Caring for Children with Special Needs in Islam.” The conversation will explore how faith-based philanthropy, community action, and inclusive education can transform the lives of children with special needs and their families.
